The McQuirter Legacy

Bryson McQuirter Jr., Cindy’s father was often referred to as “The Dean of Real Estate” in the Midland - Penetanguishene area. He was 26 years old when he joined his father in the real estate profession. Bryson Sr. opened one of Midland’s first real estate offices in 1960. Together, father and son built one of the most successful multi-office real estate organizations in the Georgian Bay area.

In 1999, many years after his father’s retirement, Bryson Jr. made the decision to leave management and dedicate 100% of his activities to personal real estate sales, and so the family business was merged with ReMax Georgian Bay Realty Ltd., resulting in the most powerful real estate team in the area today.
Bryson stayed very active in real estate until October 2011 as Cindy’s partner. They had a wonderful time being the Father Daughter Team.

More About Cindy

Being locally born and raised I have superior knowledge of the area and its history. I try to give back to the community which has enriched my life so much. As a past Big Sister, current President of Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the Chairperson for Big Sister's major fundraising event, “Showcase of Homes”, I hope to embrace the most important things in my life - my family, community and career.

I feel lucky to live by the shores of Georgian Bay with my husband and our two lovely daughters. I would be pleased to have the opportunity to share my love and expertise of this scenic area with you and make it your home too.

I am a third generation Realtor in my family. My Grandfather started in real estate in 1960 with my father, Bryson, joining him in 1966. I began my real estate career in 1995. For some, real estate is a job, for me and our family, it is a way of life. Growing up a McQuirter in real estate is a large part of who I am. As far back as I can remember people have stopped me to say your Dad or Grandpa sold us our first house. And I always feel proud as I recall the wonderful compliments and stories that have flowed after those opening remarks.
